Things are finally starting to look up.

I've been having a bit of a rough patch this part of the year, mainly with schoolwork.

The extremely good news is that this painting [link] is going to be in a big art exhibition this summer! And it's for sale ($125.00 anyone?). I'm thrilled that my painting is getting featured. If I can sell it, that would be even better!

Well, I'll update again sometime soon. I recently did another big piece. It's a contemporary stencil painting on a large piece of cardboard. I was going to use black as the background, but someone stole the black spray paint.

That about sums it up for the week. I'll post some more stuff if anything else interesting happens.

Congrats on the exhibition and black spray paint is easy to buy as long as you don't show up at the hardware store slurring your speech and with paint all over your face.

I've always thought you had to be 18 or older to buy spray paint. Or maybe that's just up here.

Hmmm, I don't know, it's been about four decades since I was eighteen and they didn't have those rules back then.

Different parts of the country have different laws. People are more uptight here in Massachusetts. I mean, I have to go up to New Hampshire just to illegally smuggle in fireworks.

But a senior who helped my art teacher is 18 and had trouble buying spray paint at the home depot. I don't know. Maybe it just depends on if the cashier is nice.

Hmmm, that's unfortunately become the case around here as well. It's really stupid though as an outlying subdivision of my city allows fireworks with no limitations so everyone just goes there.
