Happy Holiday

Thu Dec 24, 2009, 1:25 PM
Greetings, comrade.

My name is Moe Beaver from the ACLU. We have recently arrested the so called perpetrator known as "Cyclone Warning" and put him in re-education. We can only release the statement that he has said "Merry Christmas" to the wrong person in a public disclosure. But as his wishes before he was sent off of an private location, he left this message:

Good Evening, dA! Merry Christmas! I hope you are all having a wonderful season, and I hope the magic of the Christmas is engulfing all of you. Remember to drink lots of eggnog, eat turkey, play wii bowling, and hope the pictures don't end up on Facebook within the coming weeks. Have a great time with family and friends and have a great new year!

Merry Christmas-
Eric

Thank you for fufulling Eric's wishes by reading this. By the time he returns, he might be a little more calm, but he'll be fine. In the mean time, I have to go worship my statue of Barack Obama while helping fund the new 800 Billion dollar healthcare bill.

Salutations:

You Already Take Me There...

Sat Dec 12, 2009, 6:55 PM
It's currently 9:54 PM on Decemeber 12th when I started writing this journal.

I got two conjoined paintings I did features at he Arnheim Gallery at Massart, and hopefully another one featured at the Boston Globe Scholastics Art Awards. I ate a delicious chicken BLT, found out I might be related to my best friend, and watched Meet The Parents and most of Meet The Fockers back to back. Easily an awesome day.

Well, this is the time of my life where I really need toHOLY FUCK I NEED TO WORK ON MY PORTFOLIO FOR COLLEGE AAAAAAAA!!!!! Yeah, I'm starting to work on making and organizing pictures for my college portfolio. I'm mainly thinking of MassArt, AIB, or SCAD for college. The only problem is that I can't decide between illustration, graphic design, and animation. The biggest thing I'm looking for is a school that helps set up good internships, so SCAD looks pretty bright for me (excluding finances!). But most importantly I need to keep my grades up so I can actually get accepted, even though the only thing I've learned in high school is how to haggle in Thailand (Sawadi Khrap?). Eh, that's life.

Anyway, I'm off the talk to some people on iChat. See ya around Christmas.

Peace:

Yes, it's still being worked on. I'm remaking the first pages. Here's the plot for the first part.

Michael Borden is a 16 year old orphan living with his aunt in Kale, Massachusetts in 2039. America, as well as almost the rest of the world, has plunged into extreme poverty and depression because of corrupt world leaders. He lives in a tinny old trailer in one of the harshest slums of his city, barely getting enough to eat. He discovers he can summon nearly any power he can think of, but keeps this a secret in fear of goverment intervention. He meets a girl named Maria, who becomes the only friend he's ever had. After Maria disappears one day, his aunt deserts Michael in the home and is never seen again. When a peer pushes over the edge, his demonic subconciousness comes manifests itself into a physical, and briefly takes him over. After a bloody massacre, he returns to normal, not remembering what happened. He sees what happened, and flees the area. He meets Maria soon after, only to discover she too has the same powers. He learns that he is part of a race of superior beings, who are at war with an unnamed race of demonic monsters over control of the universe. Unknowingly the rape-child of and Aeolian and a monster, he is the only link between them that can end the war.

I've been a busy boy

Sun Nov 22, 2009, 8:15 AM
Wow, I really haven't been active here at all this month. Or this year, for that matter.

Anyway, the title explains it all. Schoolwork, trying to get a job, band practice (yes I'm in a band), and everything else in between. I have a ton of stuff I've been too lazy to put up, but I guess there's no better time than now, so it'll be up when I finish this journal.

Other than that, I've been having a fantastic month. My youth pastor and his wife just had their first kid, so I'm really happy for them. On the 21st I juggled in front of over 500 people. It was damn scary, and I only dropped twice. I was pretty happy with the outcome. If I can find a video of it, I'll post a youtube link.

Artwise: I have a few Pressing on Strips in the works, as well as a full character list. I've also been taking Saturday classes at MassArt (Massachusetts College of Art) and I made two big paintings. Those should be up by mid next month. Lastly, I taking part in an assignment where I have to make three big pieces from around now until June. I bought a ton of canvases, brushes, and other shit. I still need to get acrylic paints, but that's about it.

Thanksgiving is coming up, even though it seems to be overshadowed by the even bigger holiday 29 days after (I still think us Massholes should get more credit for that holiday, along with backetball, volleyball, and Dr. Suess). I hope all of you have a great thanksgivng and christmas season (fuck you, ACLU. I can be as un-politically correct as I want christmas christmas).

Well, that all I really have time for now. Time to upload my summer portfolio!
